Koko's Cakes was founded in 2012 by Komal Khan.
Komal has been making cakes since her first cooking book from the children's library aged eight. she perfected her basic sponge recipe at twelve years old and still uses it to this day.
With her love and passion for food, working in the catering industry is like a dream come true!
She was professionally trained at Sheffield college by catering legend Mick Burke and now holds a professional chef's diploma as well as 8 years experience in the catering industry.
Currently working part time as a catering tutors assistant and Fusion Organic Cafe in Sheffield, Komal received so many compliments and praise for her cakes that she took their advice and decided to start up a small cake business with emphasis on fresh, wholesome and delicious ingredients...
And so Koko's Cakes was born!
